The skiing conditions are incredible with 97% of terrain currently open, including the new high speed lift in Sun Up Bowl. Vail is operating 28 of 31 lifts and there are 190 runs open out of 195. The Vail Nordic ski area is also open for your cross-country skiing and snowshoeing pleasure. If you want to exercise indoors, many of the local gyms offer daily and weekly passes.

Rusted Root Kicks off “Bud Light Hot Summer Nights” Free Concert Series This Summer

The Town of Vail brings back the “Bud Light Hot Summer Nights” free concert series commences with Rusted Root on Tuesday, June 17 at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater. One of Vail’s favorite summer activities, the free concerts are held every Tuesday through August. All concerts begin at 6:30, with doors opening at 5:30.

The series is produced by the Vail Valley Foundation and includes all kinds of music, ranging from rock n’ roll to bluegrass to funk.
