We have received 62 inches of snow in the month of January alone. Every trail is open and every lift is running and the skiing and boarding is fabulous! Why not come out and enjoy the best conditions Vail has had in a long time.

Vail’s annual New Orleans-style event which is called “CarniVail” is scheduled for February 25-26.

Vail has received 82 inches of snow already this season and more is predicted for this week. The entire Vail Valley is a winter wonderland. The skiing conditions are incredible with 97% of terrain currently open, including the new high speed lift in Sun Up Bowl. Vail is operating 28 of 31 lifts and there are 190 runs open out of 195. The Vail Nordic ski area is also open for your cross-country skiing and snowshoeing pleasure. If you want to exercise indoors, many of the local gyms offer daily and weekly passes.
